About Me

Following in my Mothers footsteps, always an artist, and my grandfathers love of making things work...

At 65, now, I draw from all my training and experiences to make pieces that combine my woodworking and my artistry.  Some works are mostly functional, but some are just for fun.  As creative musicians play "cover songs" to meet audience demands, and interpret in their own style, so do I with woodworking and painting.

I live on part of my Great-grandmothers original farm in a home built by my father in 1946.  I still have about 40 acres, from which I still get some of the wood I use.  (See the pics on "just for fun".)

My wife, Judy, and I both enjoy the simple life, Colonial Williamsburg, Primitive things, and after noon drives in the country.  She has the "real job", and I play in the shop....
